Beryl Basham

Beryl Basham is a nationally recognized fine art advisor, cultural strategist, and entrepreneur with more than three decades of experience building and stewarding investment-level collections. As the founder of Basham Fine Art, she leads a boutique advisory practice serving private collectors, corporations, and institutions, guiding acquisitions, large-scale commissions, and strategic art initiatives with a depth of knowledge that is both market-informed and culturally rooted.

Beryl represents a distinguished roster of artists, including Sharika Mahdi, whose work has been commissioned by major cultural institutions, including Disney and the NFL; The Estate of Max Juilen, Roberto Rabanne, a renowned photographer, and Myesha Francis, whose works appear in respected private and public collections, including the Smithsonian Institution.

Her advisory work extends well beyond artist representation. Beryl has advised prominent estates and institutional collections, including the Estate of Norman Lewis, the Ruth Carter Heroes and Sheroes Costume Collection at The Heinz History Center, and The Ollie Collection at the St. Louis Museum of Art. She has also executive-produced exhibitions, nonprofit cultural programs, and corporate art experiences, bringing together market intelligence, cultural fluency, and strategic vision to produce outcomes of lasting significance.

Beyond the art world, Beryl is Co-founder of One Earth Rising, a video gaming company with a trilogy of titles on the PlayStation platform. Her corporate career includes senior leadership roles at Bank of America (Senior Vice President), Chase (Vice President), and a Wall Street investment banking firm, which informs the financial rigor and strategic discipline she brings to every advisory engagement.

Beryl currently serves on several nonprofit boards and remains committed to art as a conduit between culture, commerce, and community. Her rare combination of financial acumen, cultural authority, and philanthropic commitment has established her as a trusted voice in fine art advisory, curation, and cultural engagement, nationally and beyond.

Our origins

Basham Fine Art was established with a founding belief that meaningful works of art belong in the hands of those who genuinely value them, not simply as assets, but as cultural objects worthy of thoughtful stewardship.
